About this event

Brand new to Brighton - 2 hours of writing prompts. No sharing, critiquing or snobbery ('Are you published yet? Please.....stop.....) Pure creativity. Build friendships and leave with ideas for your own writing - whatever that looks like to you. The event is free but we ask you buy a drink to support the cafe who've given us the room. In addition, we will be pooling together money to pay the £20 room hire - so bring real money! So....it's not completely free....

Alice will lead for the first 2 sessions then it will be open to anyone to bring a prompt - the weirder the better, Puzzle bored is a safe space for LGBTQIA+ and also an autism friendly space. Do I need to be published?

No.

Can I come if I can't afford to buy a drink?

Yes.

Where is Puzzle bored and is it a safe space?

It's central - quite near to Jubilee Library. Alice is queer and the cafe is queer and autism friendly.

Do you have to read your work aloud?

No - but each session will have some time at the end for those who are bursting to share,

Can I bring a writing prompt for the group?

Do I need to bring anything?

Yes. A pen and paper (or you can write on your phone), some ideas and some spare change for room hire if you can stretch to it.
