Event Details

We are pleased to offer this one day event as a part of a series of update events for NMPs running twice yearly. The lectures will be delivered by Pharmacists and Clinical Nurse Specialists and encourage active audience participation. Delegates should be health care professionals with a Non-Medical Prescribing qualification (v300). 

Registration fee includes refreshments and certificate of attendance.

9.00am - 9.30am          Registration with refreshments

9.30am - 10.20am        Prescribing in the criminal justice system - Mary-Jane Bosley, Clinical Nurse Manager/Practitioner, Offender Health,Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust

10.20am - 11.10am      Avoiding the Pitfalls: the prescribers' essential guide - Farah Noorani, General               Practitioner, Greenbrook Healthcare

11.10am - 11.40am      Break

11.40am - 12.30pm     Searching for new evidence in prescribing - Elaine Maxwell, Co-editor of Improving Healthcare- a handbook for practitioners and Non-Executive Director at Basildon and Thurrock University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

12.30pm - 1.20pm       Lunch

1.20pm - 2.10pm         Podiatric surgery - Steve Kriss, Consultant, Royal Berkshire Foundation NHS Trust
