How to make change in the world; speaking so people can hear. An online zoom session with Alice Sheldon.
About this event
This interactive, practical online workshop will look at nonviolent communication generally and in particular, focus on how it can help us make change in the world. With examples from real life events, we will explore the powerful effects of changing how we communicate to increase respect for ourselves and others. The workshop aims to give participants some initial ideas and tools to take away with them and whet appetites for learning more.
This workshop will be lead by Alice Sheldon, a Certified Trainer in Nonviolent Communication, creator of Needs Understanding https://www.needs-understanding.com/ and author of 'Why weren't we taught THIS at school?' https://www.needs-understanding.com/book
Suggested donation of £2 per family.
There are some follow on drama workshops planned for July which will give participants a chance to experiment with some of the ideas and skills learned through this workshop, developing their toolboxes/scripts for finding creative solutions to big and small issues. Watch this space!
