Event Details

Don your Santa suit for this fun, festive event for all the family.

Location: The Dash takes place at Nonsuch Park, Cheam. Entry for the Nonsuch Park Santa Dash is via the Cheam Gate on Ewell Road, Cheam Village. Once in the park you will be able to follow signs to the starting point which will be at the front of the Mansion House, by the Cafe.

Distances: We have 2 distances this year, the usual 5k and 1.2km for kids. Participants can run, jog, trot, walk or ride either of the routes. It is not a race.

Time: The shorter route will start promptly at 11am with the longer route starting shortly afterwards. Registration opens at 10am.

Age Restrictions: There are none! Adults and children of all ages and abilities are welcome. Children aged 5-16 years will receive their own registration pack and Santa suit. Under 5's take part for free and a santa suit can be purchased for £5.00. Participants under 16yrs must be accompanied at the event by an adult.

Sponsorship: We know that Christmas is a busy time for everyone which is why we do not set a minimum sponsorship for this event. Your entry fee covers the cost of running the day including your fabulous Santa suit. However, if every one of our Santa's were able to raise just £50 each, then the hospice would receive an incredible £8,000! This could provide nearly 50 visits to patients at home from a Clinical Nurse Specialist or 4 months of treatments, such as reflexology, to patients in our Therapy Centre. So please consider raising as much sponsorship as you can or kindly making an additional donaton when registering.

Santa's who have collected donations over £50 by Friday 8th December will be entered into a free prize draw! Visit www.virginmoneygiving.com to start collecting sponsorship. Or if using a paper form please just send us a copy by the closing date.

Earlybird Discount: If you register by 31st October 2017 you will receive 10% off your booking. Just use the discount code EARLYSANTA.

St Raphael's Hospice

St Raphael’s is your local community hospice in Sutton and Merton. We provide specialist care and support to people in the last year of their life when they are struggling with symptoms from their illness or treatment.

We‘ve moved away from the view of hospice being just a building as the majority of our care is delivered in peoples own homes/care homes by our team of clinical nurse specialists or Hospice at Home. Our Therapy Services provide counselling both during an illness and in bereavement.

As a charity our services are free to everyone referred to us because of the generosity of past supporters. We have to raise 75% of the £5.8 million it costs to run the hospice each year. It is difficult to contemplate our mortality or needing the hospice but your support can ensure we are here for when you or someone close to you needs us.
