I have already completed a Foundation Training a while ago - Will I still learn something?

Absolutely - as you may be aware it takes practice to learn Nonviolent Communication - so come & brush up on your skills!

I have some mental ill health - is it suitable for me?

Question 4

I have a physical disability - Are you set up for this?

Accepted Answer

It depends on what your needs are.  We have a parking space for blue badge holders.  The ground is rough and undulating.   Drop me an email and lets discuss your needs.

Question 5

Can I stay overnight at the venue?

Accepted Answer

Yes!  we appreciate a small cash donation
1) Your tent or camper van 
2) Sleep in the venue
The venue is a little wooden building

Question 6

What about other accomodation?

There is a ocal Bed & Breakfast in Broompark Village where the bus stop is  'My Way Guest House'.  10 mins walk from Abundant Earth

Do you provide food and drinks?

Accepted Answer

I will provide fruit, nuts and cake for our snacks.  Please bring a packed lunch or food to share.  If you are staying overnight you are responsible for your breakfast and dinner.  I provide a range of milks, teas and coffee.  Feel free to bring your favorite tea or snack to share.

Will I have to do anything I dont want to do?

NO!  I would like all participants to practice being in CHOICE.

How are the sessions delivered?

Experiential -  learning  by doing.
hand outs & charts
Whole group & small group exercises
Whole group questions and feedback sessions
A pace that enables  you to think / integrate.  Most learning styles are accommodated for. - contact me if you have concerns.

How personal will it be? I am worried I might get upset -

The nonviolent Communication model does invite us to connect with our inner feelings.  It is possible that some difficult feelings may arise.

Will I feel safe?

Accepted Answer

Whilst I do everything that I can to create a container that contributes to all participants feeling safe - I can not guarantee that everyone will experience a sense of emotional safety.  IF you wish to discuss this further with me before booking drop me an email.

Question 12

Is there any support after the training?

Accepted Answer

During our time together I will support you to:
join a practice group
be paired with an empathy buddy
tap into other sources of learning and practicing.
I am also available for private coaching.

Question 13

I cant attend the whole training - is this ok?

Accepted Answer

Unfortunately not.  You won't be able to receive all the information and experiences to support you with the learning.  It is also disruptive to group cohesion.

Question 14

What are your toilets like?

We have composting toilets.  2 of them have seats and one of them is for squating.  After you have been put  a handful of the sawdust provided down the hole!  Wash your hands with soap and rainwater provided.  Please take sanitary products home - Thank you.

Can I bring my dog?

No - we have cats and sheep that live here.

Can I drink Alcohol?

Accepted Answer

My preference is that this is a drug and alcohol-free event.
