Is there a minimum age requirement?

Where does the training take place?
At the Great Yarmouth Bike Project, North Parade, NR30 4LS.
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the session?
We encourage sustainable and healthier travel wherever possible. If you have to drive, there are car parks in Great Yarmouth, although they can be busy at times. https://www.great-yarmouth.gov.uk/parkingandroads
What should I bring to the session?
Your bike, a helmet (optional) and a drink. Please wear suitable clothing for the weather, sessions will continue in all but very extreme weather. Slip on footwear is not recommended.
What will I be doing in the training session?
We want to be able to cater for all levels, from beginner to those who want to be able to tackle roundabouts. Generally we will try to tailor the session to meet whatever it is that you would like to be more confident at.
Usually we will start with basic braking, balance and control, and how to use gears, and then progress to using roads.
On road training will start gently developing positioning and turning at junctions, and will progress to busier roads, traffic lights and roundabouts for those that want to.
Can I book more than one session?
The Cycle Loan Scheme funds one free session per person. If you feel you would benefit from further help, you can discuss this with the instructor or organiser, but further sessions may incur a fee.
How can I contact the organiser with any questions?
You can email firstname.lastname@example.org, or telephone 07725 531697.
