Schedule:

4.15 - 4.30pm - Introduction

4.30-5.40pm - Screening of Nort Atlantik Drift

5.40-6.30pm - Discussion.

This event will describe the differences between using film to document impact, and making a documentary film as a key component of a project's impact. Susan Kemp's Nort Atlantik Drift, a portrait of the Shetland poet and novelist Alan Jamieson, was made as a collaboration with the department of English's 'Writing the North' project. There will be a screening of the film, followed by a discussion of the various uses of film in developing and evidencing impact.
