Conference 2016: Celebrating inclusion and good practice in the North
Conference 2016 has now SOLD OUT. If you would like to be put on the reserve list please contact Cecily Cromby.
With two keynote speeches and fifteen workshops, the 2016 North Alliance Conference will have something for everyone. Under the theme of Celebrating inclusion and good practice across the North, the morning session will be opened by Alasdair McKinlay, Head of the Community Planning and Empowerment Unit at Scottish Government, and the afternoon session by Maureen Mallon, Assistant Director at Education Scotland. In addition to the key note speeches and three workshops sessions there will be plenty of time to network and catch up with colleagues from across the North Alliance area.
Please see below for information on the workshops and how to book. Further information can also be found on the North Alliance website.
We are running a number of workshops, details of which can be found by clicking on 'show info' under each workshop title on the registration page, or on the North Alliance website. Due to space restraints and to allow maximum interaction we have placed attendance limits on some of the workshops, so book early to avoid disappointment!
To register, please click the green ‘Register’ link above. Please ensure that you select one GENERAL ADMISSION ticket along with your choice of workshops (one choice from Workshop 1, 2 & 3).
The North Alliance Conference is a FREE event. Unfortunately the North Alliance funds are running low and we have a limited travel budget this year. If your travel costs to the conference exceed £100 the North Alliance may be able cover the difference. If your travel will exceed £100 and you would like help from the North Alliance, please contact Cecily Cromby prior to booking your travel.
Lunch and refreshments are provided. Please contact Cecily Cromby if you have any specific dietary requirements.
If you have any questions about the conference, please contact Cecily Cromby.
