The Victorian Society's West Yorkshire group are excited to welcome author Geoff Brandwood’s new exploration of pubs in a second lecture. The event will be chaired by Paul Ainsworth, of Camra’s Pub Heritage Group.The focus will be on pubs in the North of England, and it will explore differences between the North and South. It will introduce you to some wonderful pubs if you want to get out and about this summer.Geoff will investigate some of our most interesting heritage pubs, revealing many wonderful gems for you to explore. They will range from small rural inns to great drinking palaces erected in the golden age of pub building over a century ago. Geoff is an architectural historian and the author and co- author of many books on pubs (as well as churches) and is an active member of the Victorian Society.
