This two hour ‘Bite Sized’ course, led by Dorset Community Action, is aimed at voluntary and community groups and will assist you in developing a strategy for sustainable fundraising. A fundraising strategy will help you plan how to raise the money you need to run your projects. This is helpful, as it forms part of your business or project plan, and will demonstrate how you intend to realistically raise money for your organisation sustainably in the future. This course is a good introduction to the bite sized course on "Successful Bid Writing".
Who is the course for?
This course is designed for new and existing groups who want to have a clear understanding on how to develop an income strategy for funding.
The course will cover:-
- What information is needed to write a fundraising strategy
- The variety of ways you can raise the funds your organisation needs
- How to draw up a plan with fundraising goals
Date: 22nd November 2017 (9.45am registration for 10 am start through to 12 noon finish)

Cost: £30 pp for voluntary and community groups, £40 pp for statutory groups
