This event will introduce you to the North East Ambition: Primary Careers Network and how we support primary schools across our region to deliver meaningful and impactful careers-related learning. We will share the importance of careers-related learning in a primary setting, the benefits of joining the Primary Careers Network, and the support on offer to your school.
During this event, you will be introduced to the Primary Benchmarks as a framework to strategically develop an age-appropriate career and personal development programme. You will be supported to undertake a careers education self-assessment audit against this framework, with the help of our team. This will then inform a careers action plan for your setting, developed by a member of our team and shared in a one-to-one meeting at your school following this event.
