Annual Conference

Join us for the North East Annual Conference. Meet Matthew Taylor, RSA Chief Executive, to discuss the RSA’s changing role in re-building prosperity in the North East.

To ensure that the RSA develops its ability to make a real difference even further, a strategic review to guide the institution in the next few years is underway, led by the RSA’s Trustees. Three core areas are beng explored: Design, Enterprise and Manufacturing; Education and Creativity; and Public Services and Communities.

Those of you who follow RSA blogs will have seen a lively discussion on the Power to Create, the developing ethos which will underpin our strategic review. Throughout the process Fellows will have the opportunity to feedback their thoughts on how it is developing.

One core principle of the change programmes will be that Fellow activism and involvement will be absolutely critical if ambitious aims are to be realised. Our Fellowship is a source of strength and we will be engaging proactively with Fellows to help secure the impact we are challenging ourselves to have.

Matthew looks forward to sharing these plans with you as they have emerged over the coming months.

Assemble from 5:30pm and depart at 9:00pm after a buffet reception.
