Why should I attend the session?

These sessions will offer a great opportunity for you to learn more about the marine planning process and the statutory requirements for use of Marine Plans.

Why are there no other sessions taking place in person in this marine plan area?

Due to timeline restrictions, we are unable to offer any further in-person sessions within this area. If you cannot attend an in-person session, please consider our online sessions which are more tailored to discuss specific topics.

Do I need to reserve a place?

We do have limited spaces available, so please do book your place to ensure we have capacity.

Will there be parking available?

The venue car park only allows to park for 3 hours. The nearest free car park is Mill Dam car park which is a 5-minute walk away. There are other car parks available in South Shields Town Centre.

Where is the nearest train station?

South Shields Metro is a 10-minute walk away from the venue, which is located in South Shields Transport Interchange.

Question 6

Will there be any refreshments/food at the event?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we will be providing tea, coffee and a light lunch at the event. Please do notify us when reserving your spot whether you have any dietary requirements.

How can I join the MSP game in the afternoon?

Accepted Answer

When reserving your space to the session, you will also have the option to reserve a ticket for the MSP game. Please make sure you reserve your ticket if you wish to attend, as we need to know the number of attendees to plan out and facilitate the game accordingly.

The team may take photos for use in future communications. Your consent will be requested on the booking form. Please note that if you decline, you will need to identify yourself to the team on the day.

How do I use my Eventbrite ticket? (if I reserved a place)

You will receive an email confirmation that your booking has been successful. When you arrive, just give us your name to sign in.

I have registered for the event, but I can no longer attend, do I need to cancel my ticket?

Accepted Answer

We do have limited space, so if you can no longer attend the event, please do make sure you cancel your order through Eventbrite as soon as possible. This allows us to accommodate others who are interested in attending.
