Come and join the family of OPAL schools at this regional network meeting. Whether you are just starting out or are an established OPAL school, this afternoon session will bring inspiration, ideas and the chance to network with like-minded local schools.

12pm12:10pm Arrival and welcome

12:10pm1pm Observation of playtime

Come and see an outstanding OPAL playtime in action – ask the children about how they manage risk and the grown-ups about the changes they have seen.

1pm1:15pm Refreshments

1:15pm–2pm Presentation

Hear from Marton Manor's headteacher and OPAL mentor Lizzie Pringle.

2pm–3pm OPAL networking

This is an opportunity to network and share ideas with other OPAL schools. There will be a presentation from an OPAL mentor.

About Marton Manor Primary School

Marton Manor is a mainstream primary school located in a suburban area of Middlesbrough. It is a welcoming, friendly and inclusive school that has a local community feel. The school is set in extensive grounds, which helps maximise the play opportunities for all children.

All staff work hard to ensure each child’s unique potential is at the heart of their approach to learning. You can bring your lunch with you as there will be an opportunity to eat while listening to the presentations in the afternoon.

Parking will be within the local community or at Stewart Park, which is a couple of minutes walk away.

Only two tickets per school. If you can no longer come, please let us know so we can release your place to another school.
