Seeking specialised support and advice to kickstart your community energy project in the North East?
Welcome to the North East & Yorkshire Community Energy Technical Assistance Workshops, an exciting programme designed to upskill community energy groups and similar stakeholders in key areas such as energy project development and management, low carbon technologies, and the grid connections process.
Workshop 2 covers Low Carbon Technologies and Concepts. We will look at:
· Which low carbon technologies are most suitable for community energy organisations?
· When are heat networks and local electricity supply projects a good idea?
· How can you leverage low carbon technologies to maximise community benefit?
· What are some common barriers and risks to technology deployment?
The programme is funded by the North East & Yorkshire Net Zero Hub, produced and delivered by community energy consultancy, Scene. It is tailored to provide expert support and advice to interested communities and potential to the Great British Energy Community Fund.
