The 2019 North of England Cell Biology Forum (NECB2019) will take place at the University of Manchester on Thursday 12 September 2019. Registration will open from 9.30am with refreshments/tea/coffee available in the Michael Smith Lounge.
This is a British Society for Cell Biology and Biochemical Society sponsored meeting organised by the School of Biological Sciences of the University of Manchester.

The scientific programme will start at 10am in the Michael Smith Lecture Theatre and run until 5pm. The programme will consist of a series of chaired sessions of talks and a poster session over lunch, as well as an opportunity to network and talk to exhibitors who are generously supporting the meeting.
As with previous years, poster presenters, speakers and session chairs will be PhD students/early career researchers and they will be selected based on careful consideration of all submitted abstracts received. Talks and posters can be in any area of cell biology.
Prizes will be awarded for the best Oral and Poster presentations, sponsored by Biomed Central and Portland Press respectively.
