Join jelly artists at the Nomad Bakery in a family workshop on Sunday 13th november to create your own lantern for a very special parade with Santa in Reading’s Town Centre taking place on Saturday 3rd December.
As part of 'Light Up Reading' for Reading's year of culture, jelly artists are working with families in workshops located in north, south, east and west Reading to create lanterns and light up the town.
In this workshop, you will use willow and tissue paper to create a lantern. Lanterns will stay with the jelly artists to dry. You will be reunited with your lantern on the night of the parade.
After the workshop you will be invited to parade on a short walk from Jacksons through the town which takes place on Saturday 3 December at 5pm leading Santa back to his bus.
Adults free with a paying child.
With thanks to Nomad Bakery for hosting this workshop.
