North Somerset Connect 5-Mental Health Course

About this Event
Connect 5 is accredited by the Royal Society of Public Health. It is an incremental, three-module programme, escalating skills through each session.
This course is delivered in three, three hour modules. It will be run on a weekly basis on the same time and day for three consecutive weeks. By signing up to this course you are committing to attending each module.

We are hoping that the Connect 5 course will be an opportunity for you to meet colleagues who work in your local area .
By the end of the course you will
• Identify with the person the steps they can take to improve their mental wellbeing
• Locate services and resources that support people to improve their mental wellbeing.
• Explain a number of strategies and techniques that break the vicious cycle at each of the five areas
• Practice implementing self-management strategies to support successful change processes
• Practice working collaboratively to set goals and agree a way forward
• Incorporate self-management strategies and resources into everyday practice
Connect 5 Live Online is an interactive, virtual classroom training course conducted via Zoom. Please note: Prior to the event, you will be sent an email with course materials and an invitation link to join the Zoom training.
Please note these courses are only available to people who volunteer or work for community and voluntary organisations in the North Somerset area.
