North Somerset Creatives - Meeting 18th September 10am
Are you creative? Do you work in the Creative Industry? A performer, musician, artist, designer, writer, illustrator? Do you live or work in North Somerset?
Join North Somerset Creatives; a gathering for local creatives to share ideas, collaborate and offer support. This member led initiative aims to create a gateway to collaboration, sharing of best practice, an inclusive and supportive environment to navigate challenges specific to our industry.
Our next meeting will be in person on Thursday 18th September 10am at Somerset Hall in Portishead.
For an introduction to Creative Health & Arts on Referral we welcome Laura Porter Founder of Now Hear This Music CIC who will lead a 15min participatory music workshop with us followed by a short presentation on her recent work in the region as a Creative Health Practitioner.
We will also be joined by Julie Matthews, Co-Director of Creative Shift who will be chatting to us about how creatives can get involved with Creative Health initiatives locally focusing on Arts on Referral specifically.
Both will be pleased to answer any questions you may have about creative health and how to get more involved. There will also be chance to sign up to a follow-up session for a deeper conversation.
We will also have time to hear from you, to share any current ideas, provocations or opportunities with the network.
As this is an in-person participatory session with limited capacity, we ask that you only book a place if you can attend. If you reserve a space and find you can no longer attend, please do return your ticket through Eventbrite or inform Natalie on natalieskidmore@triggerstuff.co.uk so we can pass your space on to someone else.

Somerset Hall is situated at 11 The Precinct, Portishead, BS20 6AH.
We are meeting in the bar & foyer area on the first floor accessible via stairs or passenger lift.
