To enter the bird race you will need to make a team, pick a region, and be registered via eventbrite for your entries to count in the race.
The four regions are: Anglesey, Gwynedd, Conwy and a combined Flintshire + Denbighshire. This event is run in teams in your own patch. Please decide where you will meet with your team, and ignore the location given here.
Teams must have a minimum of 3 people, with no upper limit, but you must stick together for the whole race, so large groups are not recommended.
Then you have a full 24 hours in which to see and record as many different bird species as you can.
Every species recorded helps with providing data, so if you're an expert or beginner the NWWT bird race is a great way to get involved with surveying and even kickstart (or just restart) a fun annual tradition
