Event description
North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust and NIHR CRN Greater Manchester would like to invite you to attend a Bitesize Research Seminar

About this Event

Join us to learn about National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) studies taking place at North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust and find out how clinical research is supported by the NIHR.

This half day event will be opened by the Trust's Medical Director and will include talks by the Research & Development Lead, representatives from NIHR CRN Greater Manchester and the NIHR Research Design Service. You will also have the opportunity to learn about what it’s like to be a Research Paramedic, listen to a patient’s perspective of taking part in clinical research, hear from the PASTA Trial Chief Investigator and learn about an upcoming study which looks at developing patient-centred, alternative care for Emergency Department users with epilepsy.

**Please note that this event is not open to the general public and is intended for healthcare staff, students and researchers with an interest in pre-hospital and emergency service clinical research**

Tickets are free of charge.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

Please let us know of any accessibility issues or dietary restrictions by contacting research.development@nwas.nhs.uk at least 48 hours before the event to allow us the opportunity to make reasonable adjustments.
