This years regional Protection CPD event is being hosted by Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service.

Registration and tea/coffee refreshments from 09:00am - 09:30am – for a prompt 10:00am start.

The agenda will comprise several guest speakers presenting on a range of topics throughout the day. The event promises to provide insightful CPD alongside the opportunity to standardise approaches across the North West region; whilst facilitating large-scale networking between fire safety colleagues.

All delegates are expected to book their place on the event using Eventbrite. When delegates book their place, this will secure their CPD certificate post-event.

Places will be advertised up until Monday 30th June 2025 at 5:00pm. All tickets will be allocated on a first come first served basis. By reserving your place, you are confirming your acceptance of photographs being taken at the event and used for internal and external communications. There is a requirement to attend at least one of the event dates.

BY BUS - Buses from Manchester City Centre to the stadium are the number 10, 67 and 100.

Buses from the Trafford Centre (many services connect here from across the region). Number 100 to Liverpool Road, Irlam. (2 minute walk from the Liverpool Road stop.)

BY TRAIN - The nearest train stations are Irlam and Patricroft. For both stations walk to Liverpool Road and take the number 67 bus.

BY TRAM - The nearest Metrolink tram stop is Eccles. From here, the stadium is approximately 40 minutes’ walk or take the number 67 bus along Liverpool Road.

Dress Code: Standard issue Fire and Rescue Service uniform (issued office attire) or standard duty rig.
