If so, you are cordially invited to attend NBI's Northern Biotech Consulting Case Competition!

NBI is proud to present its first Consulting Case Competition and official Manchester European City of Science Event of the Summer. The nature of this competition hopes to bring together students and professionals from a range of multidisciplinary backgrounds to focus on consulting and biotechnology.

Acting as consulting firms, teams will present a recommendation to our expert judges on which start-up a large biotech company should acquire to increase its portfolio. Six short-listed teams have been presented with profiles of several companies containing information regarding intellectual property, product portfolio and clinical trial data. Each team will make a recommendation regarding a deal between the client and the potential case companies. The winning team will be awarded a £1000 cash prize sponsored by Adelphi.

Everyone with an interest in biotechnology and/or the life sciences is cordially invited to attend the final competition event on Saturday the 25th of June 2016 at the University of Manchester.

The competition day will begin with a series of invited guest speaker presentations before six pre-selcetd competing teams present their consulting case solutions to an expert panel of judges in the afternoon. The event includes a free lunch and will culminate in a wine reception.

This will be a great opportunity to network with our guest mentors, expert judges and like-minded young professionals.
