Event description
Northern butterflies, moths and habitat restoration

About this Event

We would like to welcome you to the first ever North West Universities Research Symposium for butterfly and moth research at the University of Salford. Speakers from universities across the North West will be presenting their work on projects relating to the conservation of moths and butterflies, as well as habitat restoration, population dynamics and ecosystem management.

We hope this event will not only raise awareness of the great work going on across the North West, but that it will also build capacity in Salford and Greater Manchester for future research projects on urban butterflies.

Refreshments provided, but please bring your own lunch! Food can also be purchased at the student union bar.

Start time: 09:30

Lady Hale Building, G14 Lecture Theatre, University of Salford
