Event description

Description

We’re hosting an outdoor activity day at Todds Leap in Northern Ireland, for families and young people living with a brain tumour.

You’ll be able to take part in archery, have a go on a climbing wall and there’ll even be a chance to have a go on a giant swing!

For families, where a parent or child (0-18) is living with a brain tumour.

You’ll also have the chance to meet other families who understand and get to know our Children and Families Team.

For young adults, aged 16-30, and are living with or beyond a brain tumour diagnosis.

You’ll get to know other young adults going through similar experiences and meet our Young Adults Team.

The day will be relaxed and informal. And you can take part in as little or as much as you like.

There’s no charge for attending, and lunch, snacks are drinks are all provided.

“Family Days strengthen our family’s bond. When we share activities together it forms strong, emotional ties in our family helping us adapt to the health struggles we’ve faced in the past and in our daily life.” – Anja Laeuschner, whose daughter Madina, aged 12, has a craniopharyngioma.

PLEASE NOTE: Sat Navs have often been known to lead people to the wrong location so please double check before heading off.
