Northern Ireland Utilities - Procurement Act 2023 Workshop

We are pleased to invite you to a dedicated workshop for Northern Ireland’s utility sector focused on the practical implications of the Procurement Act 2023.

Since 24th February 2025, utilities in Northern Ireland have been required to conduct procurements in line with the new legislation.

However, given the particular position of utilities here, the Act applies differently than it does elsewhere in the UK and to other contracting entities in Northern Ireland.

This workshop will provide an opportunity to review those distinctions, reflect on the first eight months of implementation, and share practical experiences from across the sector.

The session will open with an overview of the main areas in which the Procurement Act 2023 applies uniquely to utilities in Northern Ireland, followed by a structured discussion on lessons learned and emerging practices.

This workshop will bring together senior professionals from across the utility sector to exchange insights and strengthen understanding of compliance under the new framework.
