This is a meeting of the Northern Legacy Group being held in the MINT Seminar Room, Second Floor of the Manchester Royal Infirmary, near Renal Research & Transplantation Labs, Oxford Road, Manchester M13 9WL.

The agenda for the day is:

12.30 - 1.15pm - Bring your lunch for a catch up before the meeting (this will be in the MINT Boardroom)

1.15pm – Welcome & Intros

1.20pm – “How charities can safeguard legacies by reducing the risk of probate disputes arising and also how to effectively (and cheaply!!!) deal with disputes when they do arise. Unfortunately, we are seeing charities being brought into probate disputes more regularly lately." - Paul Maddock of DWF Law, Liverpool

2.15pm – Break Out Groups – please submit topics you wish to be discussed to info@iofnw.org.uk with the subject heading of "Northern Legacy Group - Discussion Topic for Sept meeting"

3.00pm – "What does digital mean for legacies? The £13BN question" Farewill talks about what digital can do to close this gap, by taking a design, data, and digital marketing approach to the legacy question - Constance Mantle of Farewill

3.45pm – AOB
