Northern Music Education Hubs Conference
The theme of this year's Northern Music Education Hub conference is: Resilience.
We are excited to announce:
The morning will be facilitated by Mark Robinson, influential author and thinker on the subject of Adaptive Resilience and Director of Thinking Practice, and will focus on organisational resilience.
The afternoon will be facilitated by Sue Hoyle OBE, leadership expert and Director of the Clore Leadership programme, and will focus on resilient leadership.
Through the course of the day attendees will be introduced to a definition of adaptive resilience in arts and culture and to the 8 characteristics that can help organisations be adaptive and resilient. Facilitated small groups will then reflect their current situations, the changes they would like to make and identify potential ideas to put into action.
Attendees will benefit from shared reflection within a clear framework which can be applied ‘back at the ranch’ after the conference. They will also reflect specifically on their own leadership roles, their values and what motivates them, and discuss approaches to leading change in a complex environment.
2 places available per hub.
