Northern Powerhouse taster trade mission to Dublin, Ireland

This Northern Powerhouse initiative invites business from the North of England to join an organised visit to Dublin. The mission is open to all companies with little or no export experience. There are good opportunities for companies working in the following sectors: engineering, software, digital services, consumer & construction sectors however all sectors are welcome. The visit will enable you to increase your understanding on how to sell your goods or services in Ireland.
This is a great opportunity to learn from like-minded businesses, meet with specialists and network with customers and colleagues involved in the visit. The two day programme will introduce you to the Department for International Trade and their in-market partners & sector specialists.
Ireland is the UK’s fifth largest export market and imports more from the UK than any other country. The UK accounts for 30% of imports into Ireland. In 2014, exports of goods and services from the UK to Ireland totalled £27.86 billion.
