Welcome to Northern Women in Tax - Afternoon tea x bake off!

Alvarez & Marsal are kindly hosting the event at their Manchester Office and our planning team are busy beavering away securing sponsorship & gifts to ensure we raise as much as possible. Our aim is that all amounts paid for tickets will go direct to Prevent.

We invite the northern finance, business, tax and legal community (We do welcome men by the way and they are our best Allies!!) to join us in the delights of scrummy sandwiches, savoury cheese & biscuits and sweet treats whilst sipping on a glass of fizz (plus tea & coffee and non alcoholic beverages) as part of a fun-filled Bake Off-style afternoon, all for a great cause! If you are a keen baker, this is an excellent opportunity to show off your skills with your signature show stopper bake! Or if like me you just like to dabble then have a go - taste over presentation for me any day!

There will be judging and prizes for the winners along with a Tombola and a Raffle. See the categories in the 'line up' section below. Please note you only need to purchase one type of ticket, Admission with no bake entry or a Bake off entry admission. The latter is slightly cheaper to acknowledge you providing your own ingredients and time in making the bake!

We will be joined by the Prevent Breast Cancer Team as well as members of our community who will be sharing their own stories to raise awareness.

Prevent Breast Cancer is the only UK charity committed solely to predicting and preventing breast cancer. I wish for a future where no-one has to experience breast cancer and the impact it has on so many lives. Prevent are £60000 away from full funding for their new National Breast Imaging Academy in Manchester and we are hoping to fill some of that gap.
