Northwest Rapid Reporting Course
Event Information
Description
The Northwest FRCR 2B Rapid Reporting Course aims to guide radiology trainees through the strategies and intensive practice required to pass the rapid reporting exam. The course has been designed by consultant radiologists with extensive experience in FRCR tuition with input from an experienced ex-FRCR examiner together with radiology trainees who have recently passed the exam.
Topics covered include musculoskeletal, chest, abdominal and craniofacial plain films including paediatrics.
Candidates will run through 6 rapid reporting packets (30 films each packet) on Mac computers using Horus software in an environment which closely simulates the exam. Each packet will be reviewed with in depth discussion and hints and tips throughout the day. Packets have been updated since previous courses enabling new practice for previous delegates wishing to attend again.
There will be the added opportunity to complete an optional 'long cases' packet on the day between 8-9am with feedback at the end of the day.
Places are limited to ensure each candidate receives the required tuition from the experienced faculty.
