The Norwich Biorepository is now up and running in the Bob Champion Research and Education Building, in a purpose built facility funded by BBSRC.
The Objectives of the Biorepository are:
- To provide scientific expertise and guidance to researchers on all aspects of tissue based research.
- To act as a network hub for researchers using human tissue, to enable new relationships and reduce unnecessary duplication of work
– To provide a quality histopathology service to researchers, augmenting the professional contributions of the NNUH Cellular Pathology department, and facilitating research requests for tissue processing and storage.
- To enable easy start up for tissue based research studies by using the Biorepository generic Research Ethics Committee favourable opinion.
The Launch Event is an opportunity to hear about the work being carried out by researchers who already use the Biorepository services, and to contribute your ideas in an informal discussion session about shaping the Biorepository for the future.
