Event description

Description

Norwich BID in conjunction with Norwich City Council are inviting all Norwich businesses, communities and citizens to celebrate Norwich becoming the UK's first sharing city at an event which explores the challenges and benefits of sharing access to goods and services. The event will aim to raise awareness of the opportunities already available in Norwich and the potential for growth in the collaborative economy.

Find out more about what a Sharing City really means to the businesses and residents of Norwich.

By working together, we can solve problems and create new opportunities that benefit everyone. We believe that cross-border collaboration with other cities can help us use technology for social good, find and exchange solutions to practical everyday problems, and develop a strong local economy that empowers people to share as much or as little as they want to.

There will be presentations from:

Kate Price - Neighbourhoods and Community Enabling Manager, Norwich City Council,

Ali Clabburn - CEO and Co-Founder of Liftshare,

Sue Buffin - New U Ltd, and

Mattia Marini - Chief Cities Officer, The Sharing Cities Alliance

Stalls and exhibits include: LUMI, Liftshare, Norfolk Car Club, Missing Kind, Culture Banking, Good Gym, Refill Norwich, Food Hub and New U Ltd.
