Event description

Description

Celebrate St David’s Day with a Noson Lawen at Cardigan Castle.

Veteran Welsh pop band Ail Symudiad – who are celebrating their 40th anniversary this year – are sharing the stage with Llanboidy mixed choir Cor Corlan.

Ail Symudiad led by Cardigan brothers Richard and Wyn Jones have been a part of the Welsh music scene since 1978.

Their pithy self-penned songs take an affectionate look at Welsh life and are delivered with their trademark tongue-in-cheek style.

Cor Corlan, conducted by Ceirios Jenner, have been performing for 12 years with a repertoire of modern, original and traditional songs including the choir’s song ‘Gwanwyn ein Gobaith’ which was written by local poet Wyn Owens.

The entertainment – held in the castle pavilion – starts at 7.30pm on Thursday, March 1.
