Everyone! If you have lots of creative ideas, a flair for the artistic, skills in technology and development, are interested in games or just love heritage and information studies this is the event for you!

Can I attend by myself?

Definitely! We will be doing a short ice-breaker at the start of the day and will make sure everyone has a team to work with.

Why should I attend?

A game jam is an opportunity to meet people with wide ranging skill sets, learn, collaborate and create projects. Throughout the event there will be short talks and opportunities to learn more about technology and digital preservation. Most importantly it’s fun!

How can I prepare?

Accepted Answer

There is no need to prepare anything before the event. However, we will be providing extra resources and inspiration for you start thinking about what you would like to create beforehand as well as the option to join our Slack channel.

Do I need to bring anything?

Accepted Answer

We  recommended that you bring a laptop or if you are hoping to design something specific any materials you need. Other than that just yourself. We will be providing lots of paper, card, pens and craft supplies on the day.

Will food be provided?

We will be providing hot drinks and snacks throughout the day. Please ensure you to provide details of any dietary requirements on the ticket order form.

How do I get there?

How can I receive updates about the event?

We will communicate with your through the email address used to register for the event. You will also receive an email invitation to the event Slack channel which you can use to chat to other attendees and generate ideas.
