Anna is founder/Director of Rainbow Childcare Yorkshire Ltd - founded in 1988 – now trading as a 74 place Children’s Day Nursery in Ossett, Yorkshire.

She has launched her own children’s publishing company, established a charity to help street children and is the author of the Chavos Brand, Rianbo’s Travels and other short stories.

Anna speaks at a variety of venues and is keen to encourage and inspire – whether it be children or adults.

She is now a member of the UK based Society of Women Writers and Journalists, and works with UK and International School Specialists.

Her author visits include partnership with a school Able Writer’s Programme, where she delivers her own creative writing workshops up to and including key stage 2. (ages 4 – 11). Her school visits are now in excess of 200.

‘The most creative minds sometimes need a little help getting started. I love to help.’ Says Anna.

Anna’s story of her first visit to Mexico City in 2003, and many subsequent visits is truly inspirational. It was by keeping a journal of events that she began to write the Chavos Novels.

A stage adaptation – Chavos The Musical is in production.

Hopefully we will have plenty of interaction, some laughs , questions and of course cake!
