Emilia Mårtensson is a London-based Swedish vocalist and composer of considerable repute. After her two latest album releases Emilia has built a well- deserved reputation as one of the most exciting young vocalists on the UK Jazz scene and she has this year been awarded ‘Vocalist of the Year’ at The Parliamentary Jazz Awards. Her gently expressive voice and highly personal compositions are firmly rooted within the folklore and countryside of her native southern Sweden, adding to the mystique and allure of a distinctive and truly original artist.Her most recent album, ‘Ana’, also was listed as one of the top ten best albums in 2014 by JazzWise.
Luca Boscagin – Guitar – is a guitarist and composer and arranger. After studying in Verona (Italy) with Dodo Castelli he developed his interest in improvisation and took several lessons with two of the foremost italian guitarists: Tolo Marton and Sandro Gibellini. His major musical influences were Led Zeppelin, Genesis, E.L.P, King Crimson, Wishbone Ash, Jeff Beck, Jimi Hendrix, Albert king and others.Later, he also started listening to jazz, coming across artists such as Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Wes Montgomery, Herbie Hancock and many many others.
Fulvio Sigurtà - Trumpet - started playing the trumpet at a very early age, and at 15 he entered the “Conservatorio Luca Marenzio” in Brescia. He later moved to Boston to take up a scholarship at the Berkley College of Music, before achieving a Masters with Distinction at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. While based in London, he recorded with Cam Jazz on the very prestigious project, “Pure and Simple”, with The Guildhall Big Band and John Taylor. In 2012 Sigurtà was the recipient of the “Best New Talent” Award in the Italian Top Jazz Referendum.
