Event Details

Sodi Cookey is an established UK artist whose music is a fusion of Soul, Jazz and Blues

Sodi Cookey spent much of his childhood growing up in the musical melting pot of Port Harcourt Nigeria, returning as a young adult to London the city of his birth.

A self-confessed music junkie his influences are diverse and eclectic, his sound a unique fusion of soul, funk and jazz. The son of a musician, singing has always been part of his life.

Likened to a mind-blowing concoction of Lenny Kravitz and Bobby Womack, he is a story-teller whose songs and lyrics mirror his life experiences. His incredible range, powerful voice and charismatic passionate performance delight and surprise audiences.

Tickets £15 - Limited seating we suggest early booking to avoid disappointment.

Book and Kitchen

Book and Kitchen is a bookshop with a small cafe, art gallery and events space hosting literary evenings, supper clubs, music nights and more. We opened our doors on the wonderfully-named All Saints Road in the spring of 2013, and our aim is to combine the literary and culinary in a fresh and modern setting.

We are a neighbourhood bookshop integrated in the thriving local community, and we host events and activities for all age groups and interests.

Book and Kitchen isn't just a retail space selling books. It is also a social hub where people can flick through a second hand book over a coffee, enjoy a salad with a game of backgammon or get stuck into a random discussion with other visitors. We live by the motto Eat, Drink, Read, Talk.
