The meeting is a unique opportunity for the dissemination and discussion of cutting-edge basic science and clinical ophthalmic research.

About this Event

In the morning session the meeting welcomes research abstract presentations (oral and poster) from ophthalmologists, optometrists and visual scientists of all levels, along with an Optometry Guest Lecture.

Abstracts are welcomed from eye researchers of all levels until the 10th January 2018. Please submit to nottinghameyesymposium@gmail.com.

After a delicious hot buffet lunch the afternoon symposium will begin with the the Norman Galloway Lecture, this year given by Prof Ken Nischal, Pittsburgh entitled Deep phenotyping in congenital corneal opacities - what’s the point?

The afternoon then continues with the Symposium themed "Challenges in paediatric ophthalmology" with presentations from other eminent ophthalmologists, optometrists and scientists and our 'In the Pipeline' session with presentations from selected sponsors.

The meeting has been awarded 6 CPD points by the Royal College of Ophthalmologists.
