We agree with Cycling UK’s MyRideOurRight campaign that cycling should feel liberating, not intimidating. Glow rides are happening across the UK, filling the streets with light, making women’s experiences visible, and highlighting the urgent need for safer streets in every community. Join us and thousands of riders across the UK as we make the streets of Nottingham glow: together, we’ll shine a light on the need for safer streets for everyone.
This ride is for women of all ages, abilities and backgrounds, and those that want to support our right to ride with confidence. We ride at the pace of the slowest rider, stop for breaks whenever you want and promise you will never be alone at the back!
MEETING POINT: Women in Tandem Workshop. Click here for a Google pin (full directions can be found here).

You won't need anything fancy, but if you feel inspired, make you and your cycle extra bright for this ride. We'll have music on the ride, and everyone is welcome back to Women in Tandem's workshop for a cuppa afterwards. If you've got any questions or concerns, or if you need some extra support to help you join this event, please get in touch (email: hello@womenintandem.org.uk / 07511502741).
This ride is organised by Nottingham cycle campaign group Pedals and Women in Tandem, a Nottingham based not-for-profit community that aims to support and empower women to ride bikes.
