Join us for the launch of the Nottingham & Nottinghamshire Ambassador Scheme, a Meet in Nottingham initiative that will champion our region in securing conferences that deliver lasting economic and cultural benefits.

Meet in Nottingham is the official conferencing bureau that helps attract conferencing and business tourism to our region. Conferences bring visitors, investment and profile, whilst showcasing our sector strengths to influential national and international audiences.

As an Ambassador, you play a vital role in championing Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, promoting our place wherever you go and advocating for all it has to offer. You’ll also help us to identify conferences in your industry that we can bring to the region, and we’ll support you in securing them by providing resources, practical tools, insights, and dedicated guidance. Together, we can attract greater focus, business, and conferences to Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.

At our launch event, you’re invited to hear more about the economic and social impact of Business Tourism and learn more about how you can get involved. Hear from guests including:

• Paul Black, Head of Business Events, VisitBritainPaul will be identifying the value of ambassador programmes to source new business event opportunities and highlighting opportunities available for bidding teams working with VisitBritain and the Business Events Growth Programme for international events.

The Ambassador Launch will take place at Nottingham’s newest conferencing venue, Castle Meadow Central. Join us for drinks and canapes and a look around the brand new transformed space, renowned for its cutting-edge design - the first UK project to achieve the highest BREEAM rating for sustainability.
