Mindfulness has become an increasingly hot topic, but there's still a lot we can learn about looking after our minds. Find out the power of mental wellbeing and how best to achieve it with some simple changes that you can incorporate into your daily routine.
Authors Andy Gibson, Holly Davidson and Georgia Coleridge will be discussing their recommended techniques for combatting anxiety and achieving calm on a day-to-day basis. This discussion will be chaired by Ali Roff of Psychologies Magazine. We will be serving complimentary sandwiches and teas & coffees during this event.
Andy Gibson is a writer and entrepreneur who specializes in helping people make the most of their minds. He is author of The Mind Manual and the founder of Mindapples (mindapples.org), a charitable enterprise that promotes wellbeing through workshops and training.
Georgia Coleridge is an energy healer with a busy practice in London. She's been exploring and writing about complimentary therapies for more than 30 years. Her books include The Chakra Project, How the Healing Power of Energy Can Transform Your Life.
Ali Roff is Editor-at-Large at Psychologies magazine, a CYT 200hr Yoga teacher and a mindfulness teacher in training. She hosts the podcast 'Shoulding on Ourselves: The Modern Girls Guide to Being Who You're Meant to Be' with her sister Connie alongside their blog at aliandconnieroff.com, about success, happiness, self-love and authenticity. Ali is passionate about bringing the wisdom of ancient eastern philosophy together with modern western science through her degree in Psychology to help understand how to live a more conscious, stress-free, happier and authentically successful life.
