Come meet the team behind Nourish Scotland, chat about the Good Food Nation Bill and about grass-fed livestock, network with like-minded food reformers, and enjoy a glass (or more) of wine!
The Nourish staff (well, it's only 5 of us) will be there to present what we've been working on in the last year, reflect on our past successes, and look ahead to 2017. With a Good Food Nation Bill coming up, exciting times are ahead!
Keeping with tradition, we will have a great guest speaker: Anna Heaton, Director of the Pasture-Fed Livestock Association. Anna is an expert in animal welfare issues and the environmental impact of livestock. Her motto is 'Let Them Eat Grass!'. After she explains why, we'll get a chance to engage in a lively discussion with her.
This event is open to Nourish members and non-members. It is a great opportunity to meet the wonderful people who are working to improve food in Scotland we don't mean ourselves by this, our members are inspiring change-makers too).
The cost for non-members is £8. Alternatively, you can sign up to Nourish membership from £12/year here before booking your ticket.
