We think there is an important connection between the mind and the body. It’s impossible to think your way out of stress and anxiety. By disconnecting, and unlearning the stress signals in your body you can discover how to re-connect and re-learn to reduce everyday tension. This in turn helps you to focus and prioritise on the tasks that are important to you

Our one day retreat will leave you feeling relaxed, re-energised and focused on managing the important things in your life. We’ll start with some mindful breathing and gentle yoga-based movement to let go of physical tension and connect with nature's cycles and the progression of autumn.

From a relaxed state, we will start to separate the important from the urgent in life to review or set dream goals in life. And we’ll learn the benefits of getting physical on both mind and body.

We will finish with tools and techniques to help you recognise when and where you hold stress in your body and how to release it.

Throughout the day there will be delicious vegetarian food and (almost) limitless supplies of tea and coffee.

The retreat is led by:

Jo Burningham who has been practising yoga for over 30 years and recently qualified as a yoga therapist

Tanya Boardman who is a coach encouraging people to create the best narrative for their life story
