About this event
Hosted by Samantha Melvin | Women’s Empowerment Advocate
Date: Friday 11th October 2025
Time: 6:00pm – 9:00pm
Venue: Moksha Holistic Therapies CIC
As the season turns and the days grow shorter, autumn invites us to slow down, turn inward, and nourish ourselves more deeply. This evening gathering is a space for women to pause, reconnect, and honour all the ways we are sustained, mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
Together, we will explore what comfort and nourishment mean to us personally and collectively. We will enjoy food, conversation, and reflection in a warm, welcoming environment designed to feel like a home away from home.
This isn’t about doing more, it’s about creating space to rest, restore, and be held in community.
About Samantha Melvin
Samantha Melvin is a passionate women’s empowerment advocate dedicated to creating spaces where women feel seen, supported, and inspired. With years of experience guiding conversations around self-care, mental wellbeing, and holistic living, Samantha’s approach is grounded in empathy, warmth, and authenticity. She believes in the power of community and the importance of nurturing the mind, body, and spirit, and her events are designed to leave women feeling nourished, empowered, and connected.
What to expect
- Opening the Circle – We’ll begin by gently arriving together, grounding into the space, and acknowledging the comforts that sustain us.
- Crystal Singing Bowl Meditation – A soothing sound meditation with high quality quartz Meinl crystal singing bowls will guide us into stillness, helping us release, reset, and prepare to receive nourishment for the season ahead.
- A Hearty Soup Supper – A warming, homemade soup will be lovingly prepared and served to all guests. Eating together is one of the most ancient and powerful ways of connecting — and we’ll use this time to reflect on what truly nourishes us holistically: from food and movement, to creativity, rest, and rituals.
- Reflections & Conversations – Guided prompts will invite you to reflect on how you are nourishing your mind, heart, body, and spirit this season. There will be space for sharing, listening, and witnessing each other’s wisdom.
- Cozy Comforts – This evening is about ease. PJs are welcome! You’re invited to dress comfortably, bring a blanket if you’d like, and allow yourself to simply arrive as you are.
- Closing the Space – We’ll end by honoring what we’ve shared, planting intentions for the season ahead, and leaving with a sense of renewal and connection.
Why this gathering matters
So often, women give to others before themselves. This gathering is a reminder that you, too, deserve nourishment. It’s a chance to slow down, to be supported, and to find strength in community.
We’ll explore questions like:
- What practices or rituals bring me comfort and grounding?
- How do I nourish myself in ways beyond food?
- What does my body, heart, and spirit most need in this season?
