This series of eight 90-minute online group sessions will be delivered live by Mel Martin via Zoom.
This eight-week course is not a diet, and nor is it about weight loss, although over the 8 weeks you may notice that you have:
- More energy
- Fewer aches and pains
- That you are clear headed and sharp
- Your mood improves/lifts
- Your appetite regulates
- Cravings lessen
- And your clothes feel looser.
This course offers you a unique combination of personal empowerment and the opportunity to feel seen, heard and understood with no judgement.
What we will cover:
Metabolic health - what it is, why optimising yours could improve your whole health and how to make it work for you.
This will involve evidence based information about what might be best to eat and what might be best to avoid but it will be your decision and I will be presenting different options.
The Psychology - An exploration of why you "use" food, what you might "use" instead and how you might reduce your need to "use" by fostering a more compassionate and understanding relationship with yourself AND the food.
Empowerment - Together we will learn to recognise and understand shame, and other factors that may be keeping you "stuck".
We will utilise the power of community, connection and judgement-free understanding so that you can step forward from the shadows into your own light.
The start date is the 8th of October, then every Wednesday until the final session on the 26th of November.
