About this event

Music • Folk

Gabrielle Gee is a Manchester-based singer-songwriter whose sound drifts between indie-folk and country gaze, blending raw honesty with haunting, stripped-back melodies. At just 18, she’s already carving out her place in the UK indie scene with emotive lyrics and a voice that feels both intimate and timeless. Drawing inspiration from artists like Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus, and Adrienne Lenker, Gabrielle’s songs carry a quiet intensity that lingers long after listening.

Her debut single Excuses and sophomore release Anything For You have introduced her distinctive style to growing audiences across the UK, showcasing her deeply personal songwriting and captivating live presence. Fresh from a main stage performance at Wigan Pride as part of the WERK Artist Network, Gabrielle is fast becoming one of the North West’s most exciting emerging voices.

A full-time music student, Gabrielle has performed with several local bands and is now stepping forward as a solo artist, blending her early punk and grunge roots with the introspective depth of modern indie folk. With a growing presence in Manchester’s live music scene and a fearless approach to songwriting, Gabrielle Gee is a rising voice to watch.
