NPA PC Passport

About this event
Suitable for people of all ages, the NPA PC Passport will provide you with up-to-date knowledge and skills in a range of popular IT software, such as Office365. You will improve skills in key areas such as word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations to prepare you for employment or further study.
The course will start on 26th January and last for 17weeks, with 2 week Easter break.
- Word-processing Wednesdays, 9-11am
- Presentations Fridays, 11am - 1pm
- Spreadsheets Fridays, 2-4pm
You will gain a National Progression Award (NPA) on completion of this course (3 SQA level 6 units).

£264 (you may be eligible for a fee waiver)

IT Equipment
We’re asking students to join online classes from home in 2022. Generally, this means you’ll need to have :
- Access to the internet (2MB upload and download speed)
- a device with camera and microphone - this could be a tablet, PC, or laptop.
Please note that Chromebooks do not currently work with UHI software and services, and we don’t recommend using a smart phone to join online classes.You can find more information about what equipment you should have here.
If you think you will have difficulty working from home because of poor connectivity, IT issues or lack of suitable equipment, you you should get in touch with your local centre staff.
