Event Details

Mandatory session for Aberdeen City Council Primary and Secondary Probationers

In the session, Charlie Love and Sheila Morrison of the Learning Technologies team will take NQTs through the use of Google Classroom and the wide variety of Google tools to support learning and teaching.  The session will involve several hands-on activities based on real learning opportunities. Useful classroom tips, such as creating your mark book automatically from Google Classroom, or using Google Drive for document sharing and collaboration will be covered.  The aim of the session is to:

  •          Introduce the Google G-Suite tools in the context of learning and teaching
  •          Introduce teachers to the tools on mobile and chromebook devices
  •          Help NQTs to create their own Google Classrooms and explore the options available.

Attendees should bring a mobile device with the Google Classroom App installed
