Event description

Description

You are most welcome to join us at a special online safety evening event hosted by Hampshire Police and NSPCC which aims to support parents and carers of children aged 7-11 years with keeping their children safe online

The evening is a great opportunity to gain skills and knowledge to understand more about the internet and technology as children do – from online games and cyber bullying, through to setting up privacy settings and controls - and to help you have the right conversations with your children.

The evening will start with the recently launched Megan’s Story Campaign from Hampshire Police which aims to tackle the issue of children sending and sharing nude/sexual pictures online; followed by delivery of the NSPCC online safety workshop for parents and carers by NSPCC staff.

Local officers and professionals will be on hand to answer questions and offer support.

You are welcome to join us from 6pm for refreshments ahead of the event start at 6.30pm prompt.

Parking is available onsite and refreshments will be provided
